ORDER

Challenging the impugned Award of the 1st respondent/Labour Court in I.D.No.108 of 2008, the petitioner is before this Court by way of this Writ Petition.

2. However, when the matter is taken up for hearing, learned counsel appearing on either side submitted a joint memo stating that the management has agreed to pay a sum of Rs.4,00,000/- to the workman within a period of 12 weeks which was also agreed by the workman. In view of the said memo the learned counsel for parties sought to close the Writ Petition.

3. Recording the same, this Writ Petition stands closed with a direction to the 1st Respondent/Labour Court to close the Industrial Dispute raised by the Workman in I.D.No.108 of 2008 in the light of the joint memo

filed by the parties. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition stands closed. 27.07.2023 Index : Yes / No Speaking order / Non-speaking order NHS To The Presiding Officer, Principal Labour Court, Chennai.
