ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed for direction directing the respondents to regularize the petitioner's service in pursuance of G.O.Ms.No.25, Adi Dravidar and Tribal Welfare Department, dated 25.02.2011.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents and perused the materials available on record.
3. The petitioner was selected by the third respondent, by its proceedings dated 29.01.2007 to the post of Sweeper, along with other two persons who were also appointed as Sweeper in the Dharmapuri Government College Hostel. The petitioner had joined in the said post on 06.02.2007. Therefore, he made a representation to regularize his service. On receipt of such representations, the Government had passed G.O.Ms.No.25 Adi Dravidar and Tribal Welfare Department, dated 25.02.2011, thereby regularising the service of all basic servants, who are employed in the hostel run by the Government and Schools. Pursuant to the said G.O., the first respondent 2/4
regularised the service of all the basic servants. However, the petitioner's name was not included in the list. Therefore, he submitted a representation to regularise his service as per G.O.Ms.No.25, Adi Dravidar and Tribal Welfare Department, dated 25.02.2011.
4. In view of the above, the respondents are directed to regularise the petitioner's service in pursuant to the G.O.Ms.No.25, Adi Dravidar and Tribal Welfare Department, dated 25.02.2011 within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
