Respondent submitted that the Secretary to Government, Higher Education (E1) Department, Secretariat, Chennai-9 in their Letter No.5836/E1/2014-6, dated 03.03.2015 addressed to the Petitioner's General Secretary, Tamil Nadu Private School Teachers Sangam had inter-alia stated that their representation dated 25.08.2011 praying to cancel the orders issued in G.O.Ms.No.309, Higher Education (E1) Department, dated 21.09.2010, granting minority status to YMCA College of Physical Education, Chennai was rejected for the reasons assigned therein.

4.Since the Government had passed orders on 03.03.2015 referred to above, nothing survives for adjudication in the present Contempt Petition. Accordingly, the Contempt Petition is closed. No costs.
