This criminal revision petition has been filed by the defacto complainant, aggrieved by the order of acquittal passed by the Judicial Magistrate No.I, Tindivanam.

2.After the amendment of Section 372 Cr.P.C., the proviso to the said section specifically gives the rights to the victim to file an appeal before the appropriate Court as against the order of acquittal. This amendment has come into effect that 31.12.2009.
