By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal. 2.The present writ petition has been filed seeking a Mandamus directing the second respondent to issue patta for the land in S.No.1073/30, Old S.No.636 to an extent of 23 cents at Vellodu Village, Perundurai Taluk, Erode District in the name of Vellodu Mariamman Temple by considering the petitioner's representation dated 09.11.2015.

3.In the petition it has been stated that the petitioner is the resident of No.30, Kallukadai Medu, Perundurai Taluk, Erode District and in the village there is a renowned Temple namely, Vellodu Mariamman Temple and the said Temple is in existence for more than five generations and it is a private Temple situated at S.No.1073/30, Old S.No.636 to an extent of 23 cents . Hence, the petitioner had given a representation dated 09.11.2015 to the respondents requesting to issue patta in the name of the Temple and since no action has been taken till date, the petitioner has come forward with this petition.

4.Heard the submissions of the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader. 5.Considering the submissions made on either side, this Court without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner directs the fourth respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 09.11.2015 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the claim made by the petitioner.
