ORDER

This contempt petition is filed alleging wilful disobedience of the order dated 27.01.2016 and made in W.P.No.2733 of 2016.

2.This Court, vide order dated 27.01.2016 made in W.P.No.2733 of 2016, directed the first respondent to consider the representations of the petitioner dated 01.06.2015 and 04.12.2015 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, in the light of the order in G.O.(2 pa) No.7, Rural Development and Panchayat Raj (Pe.a-4) Department dated 30.01.2012 passed by the first respondent, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order. The said order has not been complied with, within the specified time. Hence, this Contempt petition.

3.Today, when the matter is taken up for consideration, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent submitted that the respondent has passed an order on the representations of the petitioner in G.O.(3D) No.83, dated 28.10.2016 and has also produced a copy of the said Government Order.

4.Since the order has been complied with, now nothing survives for adjudication. Hence, this Contempt Petition is closed.
