ORDER

This Court, while disposing of the Writ Petition in W.P.No.5419 of 2014, by order dated 24.02.2014, directed the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 14.02.2014 and to pass appropriate orders in the light of the judgment in W.A.Nos.687 & 789 of 2006, dated 25.01.2008, within a period of twelve weeks.

2.Alleging non-compliance of the said order dated 24.02.2014, the present contempt petition has been filed by the petitioner.

3.Today, when the matter is taken up, the learned Government Advocate by producing a copy of the proceedings dated 05.04.2018 issued by the respondent, submitted that the order of this Court has been duly complied with by the respondent.

4.Since the order of this Court has been complied with, nothing survives for adjudication in this contempt petitioner and accordingly, the same is closed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to challenge the order passed by the respondent in the manner known to law, if he is so advised.
