ORDER

This Writ Petition is heard through Video Conference on account of COVID-19 pandemic situation.

2. The prayer sought for in this Writ Petition is to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to consider the representations of the petitioners dated 24.06.2013 and 21.06.2013 for grant of drought relief in accordance with G.O. NO.48 (Pa. Me) 3(1) dated 13.02.2013.

3. Though the matter is pending from the year 2013, it appears that on 30.04.2015, all the petitioners seem to have received the drought relief fund from the respondents. The https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

said amounts have also been deposited to their accounts in the Vanjipalayam Primary Agricultural Co-operative Society. The petitioners have also given statements before the authorities to the effect that they will withdraw the above said Writ Petition.

4. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that he has also sent the copies of the said statements made by the petitioners and also the remittance of the amounts into the Bank through e-mail to this Court, which are taken on record.

5. Recording the same, the Writ Petition is dismissed as having become infructuous. No costs.
