ORDER
Mr.A.N.Thambidurai, learned Special Government Pleader, takes notice for the respondents 1 to 3.
2. By consent, the main writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
3. The petitioner has filed the above writ petition to issue a writ of mandamus to direct the 1st respondent to dispose of the appeal dated 01.07.2016 filed as against the order passed by the 2nd respondent dated 06.04.2016 and to restore the position of 266/4A in Melakondaiyur Village, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
Tiruvallur Taluk, as it stood in patta No.1194, within a time frame.
4. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that though the petitioner has filed the appeal as early as on 01.07.2016, the 1st respondent has not disposed of the same yet.
5. Mr.A.N.Thambidurai, learned Special Government Pleader, appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 submitted that the 1st respondent may be directed to dispose of the appeal, in accordance with law, within a time frame, after giving an opportunity of hearing to the 4th respondent.
6. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for by the petitioner in the writ petition, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the 1st respondent to dispose of the appeal petition dated 01.07.2016 filed by the petitioner, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after giving an opportunity of personal hearing to the 4th respondent. With the above observation, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
