Respondents Prayer : Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the first respondent bank to implement the recommendations of Dr.YSP Thorat Committee on Human Resource Policy with specific reference to recruitment as per staffing pattern, which has been approved by the second respondent and appoint the staffs as per the guideline given by the second respondent following the guideline of the Dr. YSP Thorat Committee. ORDER

Learned counsel for the first respondent is present. He submitted that the matter has been settled and the grievance of the petitioner association no longer survives. However, no concrete details are provided.

2. Be that as it may, when the matter came up for hearing on the last occasion on 27.11.2023, learned counsel for the petitioner appeared in the morning session and requested to pass over the matter. Accordingly, the matter was passed over. In the afternoon session, when the matter was called out, there was no representation on behalf of the petitioner and the matter was adjourned to 29.11.2023. Today also, there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner.

3. In view of the above, the writ petition is dismissed for nonprosecution. There will be no order as to costs. 29.11.2023 Index :
