O R D E R

The petitioner has filed the above writ petition to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to consider his representation dated 23.11.2016 by changing his initial as V.Gokulakannan instead of R.Gokulakannan in the Higher Secondary Course Certificate (Plus two mark sheet), Plus Two Transfer Certificate and Secondary School Leaving Certificate (Tenth Standard Mark Sheet) within a time frame.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that in spite of the petitioner's representation dated 23.11.2016, the 2nd respondent has not passed any orders so far.

3.Mr.R.Rajeswaran, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the 2nd respondent may be directed to consider the petitioner's representation, in accordance with law.

4. In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 23.11.2016 and pass orders, in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is also made clear that the petitioner should produce all the necessary documents before the 2nd respondent to establish the claim made by him.

With these observations, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
