Mr.E.Balamurugan, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. By consent of the parties, the main writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. The petitioners seek for a mandamus directing the respondents to issue Patta in respect of the land and properties measuring to an extent of 2499 sq.ft in Old Natham Survey No.314 and New Natham Survey No.913 of Annur Village, Avinashi Taluk, Coimbatore District, based on their representations dated 22.11.2017 & 18.02.2018.

4. This Court, at this stage, is not expressing any view on https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the claim made by the petitioners, as it is for the second respondent to consider and decide the same. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of, only by directing the second respondent to dispose of the representations dated 22.11.2017 and 18.02.2018 on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing the petitioners as well as the rival claimants and other interested parties, if any. Such exercise shall be done by the second respondent within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
