It is seen that this Court while disposing of the above said W.P.No.6881 of 2018 on 28.08.2023 directed the Presiding Officer, II Additional Labour Court, Chennai to conclude the proceedings in I.D.No.312 of 2014 as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of the order.

2.It is brought to the notice of this Court by the Registry that the learned Presiding Officer, II Additional Labour Court, Chennai vide letter dated 22.03.2024 has prayed for further extension of time to dispose the I.D.No.312 of 2014, to comply with the order dated 28.08.2023 passed by this Court in W.P.No.6881 of 2018.

3.I have gone through the reasons stated by the learned Presiding Officer, II Additional Labour Court, chennai and I am satisfied with the reasons stated therein. Therefore, further period of two months is granted to dispose of the matter as per the directions of this Court.
