The grievances of the writ petitioner is that the claim of the writ petitioner for correction of date of birth has not been considered by the 2nd respondent.

2.The learned counsel for the writ petitioner states that on account of certain mistakes, while entering the date of birth of the writ petitioner in the Service Records, he submitted an application for correction of his date of birth along with the documents. The 2nd respondent has not taken any action to conduct an enquiry and pass orders in respect of the application submitted by the writ petitioner for correction of his date of birth.

3.Thus, without going into the merits of the matter, the 2nd respondent is directed to consider the representation submitted by the writ petitioner on 12.06.2017 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The writ petitioner is directed to enclose the copy of the representation and all other relevant documents, if any, along with the order passed in the present writ petition.
