O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to deposit 60% of the compensation amount before the Reference Court in L.A.O.P.No.448 of 2008 along with 15% interest from 28.04.2013 to till the date of payment based on the petitioner's representation dated 16.12.2024.

2. Heard Mr.S.Karthik for the petitioner, Mr.P.Sathish, learned Additional Government Pleader for the first respondent and Mr.R.Thamarai Selvan, learned Standing Counsel for the second respondent.

3. When the matter was taken up for hearing, learned Standing Counsel appearing on behalf of the second respondent submitted that the amount will be deposited within a period of two weeks.

4. Recording the above submission, it is made clear that the compensation amount will be deposited within a period of two weeks before the reference Court in L.A.O.P.No.448 of 2008. On such deposit, it is left open to the petitioner to withdraw the same.
