O R D E R

(By S.M.SUBRAMANIAM,J.,) The order passed by the Commissioner of Land Administration dated 08.01.2021 addressed to the District Revenue Officer, Thiruvallur District for restoration of the Government land classified as 'Eri Ulvoi' is under challenge in the writ proceedings. The subject property belongs to the Government and is a water body. The property is situate at Padiyanallur Village, Ponneri Taluk, Tiruvallur District, adjacent to Chennai city. On 23.04.2021, this Court granted an interim order and posted the case for final hearing.

2. Learned Additional Government Pleader would submit that interim stay is causing objections to the Government for resumption of the water body to be utilized for public purposes.

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, again learned counsel for the petitioner seeks adjournment.

4. Under these circumstances, this Court is not inclined to extend the interim order already granted by this Court on 23.04.2021 in W.P.No.10244 of 2021.
