ORDER
This Writ petition has been filed seeking quashment of the award dated 05.11.2014 passed in I.D.No.317 of 2009 on the file of the III Additional Labour Court, Chennai.

When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner-management submitted that, challenging the very same impugned award dated 05.11.2014 passed by the 1st respondent in I.D.No.317 of 2009, in and by which the termination order passed by the petitioner-management as against the 2nd respondent/workman was set aside and the petitioner-management was directed to pay 50% of the pay calculated from 24.12.2008 to till the date of award as one time lump sum compensation to the 2nd respondent along with interest at the rate of 9% per annum and cost of Rs.3,000/-, the 2nd respondent/workman filed a Writ petition before this Court in W.P.No.11783 of 2015 and this Court, vide order dated 16.04.2024 dismissed the said petition.
3. In view of the above, when the Coordinate Bench of this Court has already decided the very same issue on merits and confirmed the impugned award of the 1st respondent dated 05.11.2014, holding that, the 2/4
quantum of compensation awarded by the labour court is sufficient, this Court is of the view that, no further adjudication is required in this petition, and accordingly, this Writ Petition stands dismissed.
