ORDER

The revision petitioner is an accused in STC.No.172 of 2013 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate (Fast Track Court) Tiruppur. By judgment dated 21.08.2015, he was convicted for an offence under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act and sentenced to undergo Simple Imprisonment for a period of six months and to pay a fine of Rs.1,000/-, in default to undergo simple imprisonment for a further period of one month. Aggrieved over the same, the petitioner preferred a Criminal Appeal in Crl.A.No.88 of 2015, before the 2nd Additional District and Sessions Court, Tiruppur. By judgment dated 14.06.2016, the Appellate Court dismissed the said appeal confirming the judgment of conviction and sentence passed by the trial Court. Challenging the same, the petitioner has preferred this Criminal Revision Case. 2.When the matter was taken up for consideration, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is no more.

3.Recording the submission so made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Criminal Revision stands abated. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
