PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus, to produce the detenue, i.e., the petitioner's daughter P.Porkodi or bring the corpus of the detenue before this Court and set her at liberty from the 4th respondent.

O R D E R

[Order of the Court was made by RAJIV SHAKDHER, J.] 1.This is a fresh matter. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, however, says that since complaint was lodged, which is numbered as CSR No.464 of 2017. The detenue/Ms.P.Porkodi was traced.

1.1.Accordingly, Mr.Rajentran, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, says that the detenue/Ms.P.Porkodi is available for interaction.

2.Heard.

Mr.P.Vijayakumar, learned counsel for the petitioner, concedes that the detenue/Ms.P.Porkodi has married the 4th respondent i.e., Mr.A.Prabakaran.

3.To be noted even, according to the petitioner, the detenue/Ms.P.Porkodi is a 4th year student of College of Nursing, Government Chengalpet Medical College & Hospital, Chengalpattu and therefore, is a mature person who can make her own choices in life.

4.The detenue/Ms.P.Porkodi says that she is married and has expressed her desire to remain in the company of the 4th respondent, i.e., Mr.A.Prabakaran.

5.In these circumstances, no further orders need to be passed in the instant petition. It is directed, accordingly. The petition is closed.
