This writ petition is filed for the following relief: "To direct the 1st respondent to pass appropriate orders on the representation of the petitioner dated 20.01.2626 for pay fixation in the promotional post of Principal, Central Polytechnic College, Chennai from 17.03.2010 and consequently to revise the pension."

2. The petitioner would submit that he was promoted as a Principal in Central Polytechnic College, Tharamani, Chennai vide in G.O.(Ms)No.52, Higher Education Department, dated 15.03.2010. However, no pay fixation has been made in the said post till his retirement on 31.05.2016. Therefore, the petitioner has made several 2/5

representations in this regard and finally he submitted his representation on 20.01.2026. However, there is no response from the respondents. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court.

3. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the fact that the petitioner's representation dated 20.01.2026 has not been considered to date, the 1st respondent is directed to consider his representation and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 4 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
