PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of Habeas Corpus, calling for the records in detention order passed in No.16/BCDFGISSSV/2025, dated 12.02.2025 passed by the 2nd respondent herein and quash the same and direct the respondents herein to produce the body of the detenu namely Prasanth @ Chinna Konai, male, aged 25, S/o.Elangovan, No.44, Perumal Koil Street, Old Nappalayam, Chennai 600 103, who is now confined in Central Prison, Puzhal, Chennai before this Court and set him at liberty.

When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner, as well as the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents, by producing a copy of the Government Order in G.O.Rt.No.1561, Home, Prohibition and Excise (XIII) Department, dated 25.03.2025, submitted that the detention order has already been revoked.

2. Recording the said submission, this Habeas Corpus Petition stands

dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
