ORDER

This petition has been filed to dispense with the deposit of award amount.

2. Under the proviso to Section 173(1) of the Motor Vehicles Act, a person, who required to pay any amount in terms of Award, shall deposit a sum of Rs.25,000/- or 50% of the Amount so awarded, which ever is less, if he wants to challenge the Award.

3. In view of the statutory provision, this court is not inclined to entertain this petition and accordingly, this petition is dismissed.
