This petition has been filed to modify the condition imposed on the petitioners to appear before the respondent police twice in a day for a period of two months and thereafter as and when required for interrogation in the above Crl.O.P.No.3887 of 2023 dated 21.02.2023.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the petitioners are duly complying the condition imposed on them by this Court to appear before the respondent police daily twice in a day for the period of two months. However, even though they were granted bail, they are put into continuous harassment by the respondent police. Hence, they may be permitted to report before any other police station in Mayiladuthurai District. Therefore, he has filed this petition to modify the condition.

3. Considering the above submission, the condition to report before the respondent police is modified to that effect that the petitioner shall stay at Thiruvarur District and report before the Town Police Station, Thiruvarur on every Tuesday and Saturday at 10.30 p.m., for the period of six weeks.

4. Except the above modification, the other conditions imposed by this Court in Crl.O.P. No. 3887 of 2023 vide order dated 21.02.2023 shall remain unalterted.

5. Time is extended for further period of two weeks for compliance of the order from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 17.03.2023 rpp 2/3
