O R D E R

Though the challenge in this Writ Petition is to the punishment order dated 18.2.2010, the learned counsel for the petitioner fairly submitted that the petitioner would be satisfied in case the statutory review petition filed under Rule 37 of the Tamil Nadu Civil https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Services (Discipline and Appeal) Rules is directed to be disposed of by the first respondent.

2. The petitioner filed a review petition dated 5.6.2010 invoking Rule 37 of the Tamil Nadu Civil Services (Discipline and Appeal) Rules before the first respondent with a prayer to review the order on various grounds. The review petition is pending on the file of first respondent.

3. The first respondent is directed to consider and dispose of the review petition filed by the petitioner dated 5.6.2010 on merits and as per law. Such exercise shall be completed within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. The Writ Petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs. The connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
