ORDER

This petition is filed seeking to relax the conditional order imposed in paragraph No.5 (iv) of the order dated 27.01.2026 in Crl.A.No.1916 of 2025, directing the petitioner / appellant to stay at Salem and report before the Inspector of Police, Suramangalam Police Station, Salem District, everyday at 10.30 a.m. until further orders.

2.Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner was granted bail with a condition to stay at Salem and report before the Suramangalam Police Station daily at 10.30 a.m. until further orders. The petitioner has been regularly complying with the said condition. Meanwhile, the respondent has completed the investigation and filed the final report and the case has been taken up for trial in Spl.S.C.No.13 of 2025 on the file of the Principal District Court, Nagapattinam, and he would submit that in such circumstances, no useful purpose would be served by directing the petitioner to comply with the condition and hence the petition has been filed seeking relaxation of condition.

3.Learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) would submit that the investigation in this case has been completed and the case now stands posted for trial before the District and Sessions Court, Nagapattinam, and the next hearing date is 12.03.2026.

4.In view of the above, the condition imposed by this Court in paragraph No.5 (iv) vide order dated 27.01.2026 in Crl.A.No.1916 of 2025 stands relaxed. The petitioner is directed to appear before the trial Court on 12.03.2026 and thereafter, on the date(s) fixed by the learned trial Judge. 5.This Criminal Miscellaneous Petition stands ordered accordingly. 05-03-2026 kas To.
