The relief sought by the petitioner in this writ petition is to call for the records relating to the rejection order issued in Na.Ka.No.309/2021/A4 dated 12.12.2022 on the file of the respondent quash the same and directing the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 20.06.2022 ad extend/renew the lease/licence for fishing right for further period of 3 years from 2023-2024 in the Poonachi Lake which is under the control of the respondent in view of the reason that the petitioner have incurred a heavy loss due to the lock down during COVID 19 and due to heavy rain during 2021-2022.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the matter has become infructuous and nothing survives in this writ petition for further adjudication. She has also made an endorsement to that effect in the case bundle. Page No.2 of 5

3. In view of the above submission coupled with an endorsement made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
