Prayer:Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent herein to demarcate the petitioner's property situated at 49, Keezhayur Village, Kivelur Taluk, Nagapattinam District comprised in Natham Survey No.365/2B2, 365/2B5 admeasuring to 4 cents and Survey No.365/2B admeasuring to 20 cents on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 24.01.2018. Mr.I.Sathish, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondent. By consent of the parties, the main writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. The petitioner seeks for a mandamus directing the respondent herein to demarcate her property situated at 49, Keezhayur Village, Kivelur Taluk, Nagapattinam District comprised in Natham Survey No.365/2B2, 365/2B5 admeasuring to 4 cents and Survey No.365/2B admeasuring to 20 cents, based on her representation dated 24.01.2018.

3. The grievance of the petitioner before this Court is that even though she made a representation on 24.01.2018, seeking for demarcation of the subject matter property, the same has not been considered by the respondent so far.

5. This Court, at this stage, is not expressing any view on the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, as it is for the respondent to consider and decide the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

same. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of, only by directing the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 24.01.2018 and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing the petitioner and the other interested parties, if any. Such exercise shall be done by the respondent within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
