Nos.7496 of 2018 & 5973 of 2019: Writ Petitions filed Under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Certiorari calling for the records in respect of the orders Ka.No.A.No.A.9/630/1981 dated 16.02.2018 and Ka.No.A.No.A.10/62421/1980 dated 09.02.2018, quash the same and to direct the respondents to regularise the allotment of the open space land permanently in favour of the petitioner.

For Petitioner : Mr.M.Arun for N.A.Kareem for Mr.N.A.Kareem For Respondents-1 & 2 : Mr.P.H.Arvind Pandian, AAG assisted by for Mr.R.Bharath Kumar for R1&R2 COMMON ORDER The petitioners, who are the allottees of open space and shop by the respondents herein, have filed these writ petitions against the notices of eviction dated 16.02.2018, 16.02.2018 and 09.02.2018 issued by the second respondent, namely the Executive Engineer and Administrative Officer, Tamil Nadu Housing Board, Thirumangalam, Chennai - 101.

2. Today, when the writ petitions have been taken up for hearing, Mr.P.H.Arvind Pandian, assisted by Mr.R.Bharath Kumar, learned counsel appearing for the respondents, submitted that the petitioners/tenants, have vacated the place in their occupation and surrendered the same to the respondents. The said submission is recorded.

3. In view of the same, nothing survives for adjudication in the writ petitions. Hence, the writ petitions are closed. No costs. Consequently, the connected writ miscellaneous petitions are closed.
