ORDER

This contempt petition has been filed as against the respondent for not complying the order passed by this Court in W.P.No.34571 of 2003, dated 24.08.2017. The relevant paragraph of the said Writ Petition is extracted hereunder: https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

"This Court directed the respondent/Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation to reinstate the petitioner/employee with 50% of backwages as early as possible."

2.The learned counsel for the respondent would submit that as against the order of this Court in W.P.No.34571 of 2003, dated 24.08.2017, the respondent has filed an Writ Appeal and also got an interim stay on 20.08.2019.
