ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the 1st respondent to survey and demarcate the boundaries of the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition, and thereafter to modify the extent of the property as 7 1⁄2 cents in the FMB sketch, pursuant to the petitioner's on-line application, dated 11.02.2026 and representation dated 16.02.2026.

2. Since the aforesaid petitioner's on-line application and representation has not been considered till date, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.

3. Mr.S.Arumugam, learned Government Advocate, accepts notice on behalf of the 1st respondent and Mr.V.Meganathan, learned Page No.2 of 6

Government Advocate (Crl.Side), accepts notice on behalf of the 2nd respondent. Since no adverse orders are passed against the respondents 3 to 7 in this writ petition, notice to the respondents 3 to 7 in this writ petition is dispensed with by this Court.

4. No prejudice would be caused to the respondents, if the 1st respondent is directed to survey and demarcate the boundaries of the petitioner's property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition, which the petitioner claims that it is owned by him, after hearing the objections, if any, from the respondents 3 to 7, the neighbouring land owners as well as any third party as they deem fit and thereafter, to modify the FMB sketch for the subject property, if found eligible.

Accordingly, this Court directs the 1st respondent to complete the survey and demarcation of boundaries of the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition, with the assistance of the 2nd respondent, if required, based on the petitioner's online application, dated 11.02.2026 and representation, dated 16.02.2026, after giving due consideration to the documents produced by the petitioner, and after hearing the objections, if any, from the respondents 3 to 7, the Page No.3 of 6

neighbouring land owners and any other third party, whom the 1st respondent deems it fit to enquire. Thereafter, if the petitioner is found to be eligible, the 1st respondent shall modify the FMB sketch for the subject property. The 1st respondent is directed to complete the aforesaid exercise, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the aforesaid directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
