O R D E R

This Petition is to quash the final report under Sections 406, 420 of IPC.

2. It is reported by the counsels for the petitioner and the defacto complainant that the parties have arrived at a compromise. The parties also appeared in person before this Court had had confirmed the same. The first respondent / Inspector of police is also present and has also confirmed the identity of the parties.

3. The defacto complainant has filed an affidavit which reads as follows:- "2. I respectfully submit that the accused had completed executed registered power of Attorney bearing document No.5255/2021 dated 12.04.2021, granting absolute right alienation of the property in dispute and also cleared all the bank loan. I have no objection in allowing the above petition to quash the criminal complaint."

4. In view of the compromise arrived at between the parties, there is no use in keeping the investigation pending. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition is allowed and the FIR in Cr.No. 54 of 2020 dated 25.01.2021 on the file of the Inspector of Police, CCB, Team-XVI, Egmore, Chennai District is quashed. Consequently, connected Civil Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
