COMMON ORDER These writ petitions have been filed for direction to the respondents to consider the representations of the petitioners to regularise their service and fix time scale of pay in the light of the GO.Ms.No.22 dated 28.02.2006.

The petitioners are working as daily wage employees in the agricultural farm in the third respondent department since 1982, 1983 and 1984 respectively. However, they were not absorbed as regular employees. There is GO.Ms.No.22 dated 28.02.2006 to regularise the daily wage employees working in all Government Departments who have rendered 10 years of service as on 01.01.2006. Therefore, the petitioners made representations to regularise their service. 3.

On perusal of counter, revealed that the petitioners are called for work in the third respondent farm whenever necessity arises on part time basis. After completion of work on the same day, the next day, 4/6

they go for other work in other private farms. They are agricultural daily wage employees and they are only seasonal workers and not permanent and continuous employees. Therefore, the claim of regularisation is unjustified and it curtails the right of employment to others who are waiting for employment by registering their names in the Employment Exchange. Therefore, GO.Ms.No.22 dated 28.02.2006 is not applicable to the case of the petitioners. Hence, the request made by the petitioners cannot be considered and these writ petitions are devoid of merits and liable to be dismissed.

Accordingly, all the writ petitions are dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs.
