Respondents PRAYER : Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider and dispose of the representation dated 27.02.2018 in the light of the sanction given by the third respondent in vide Mu.Mu.No.1362/A3/2016 dated 02.05.2016. By consent, this Writ Petition is taken up and disposed of at the stage of admission itself.
2. This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents to consider and dispose of the representation dated 27.02.2018 wherein the petitioner has made a request to release his retiral benefits on earned leave and leave on private affairs. But till date the said representation has not been considered, the petitioner is before this Court.
3. Heard Mr.B.Thirunavukkarasu, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.A.Rajaperumal, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, who sought reasonable time to consider the pending representation made by the petitioner.
4. Considering the limited relief sought for by the petitioner, this Court directs the third respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 27.02.2018 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With this direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
