..Respondent/Complainant This Criminal Original Petition has been filed under Section 439 (1)(b) and r/w 482 of Cr.P.C, praying to extend the time to surrender before the learned Metropolitan Magistrate-V, Egmore, Chennai and to complying the conditions imposed by this Court in Crl.M.P.No.111 of 2022 dated 06.01.2022.

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed praying to extend the time to surrender the petitioner before the learned Metropolitan Magistrate-V, Egmore, Chennai and to comply the conditions imposed by the I Additional Sessions Judge, FAC of Principal Sessions Court, Chennai, in Crl.M.P.No.111 of 2022 dated 06.01.2022. 2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, there is no representation for the petitioner.
3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent submitted that the I Additional Sessions Judge, FAC of Principal Sessions Court, Chennai has granted bail to the petitioner on 06.01.2022 by imposing one of the conditions that the petitioner should execute a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- with two sureties each https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
for a like sum to the satisfaction of the respondent police or the police officer, who intends to arrest or to the satisfaction of the learned Magistrate concerned. But, the petitioner did not surrender before the Magistrate and execute the sureties. Hence, he filed a Miscellaneous Petition before the Principal Sessions Judge, Chennai, for extension of time for furnishing sureties as per order dated 06.01.2022. After hearing both sides, the trial Court dismissed the petition. Against which, the present petition has been filed for extension of time to execute the sureties.
4.Considering the submissions made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), this Court is extended time to furnish sureties till 22.04.2022 as per the condition imposed by the I Additional Sessions Judge, Fast Track Court of Principal Sessions Court, Chennai dated 06.01.2022. No further extension of time will be granted to the petitioner.
