Respondent PRAYER: This Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue an order of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent and its subordinates to grant the autorickshaw permits in Chennai City as per the G.O. ms. No. 463/10 dated 13.05.2010 with reference to the petitioner's representation dated 05.02.2015 and pass further orders.

O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondent and his subordinates to grant the autorickshaw permits in Chennai City as per the G.O. ms. No. 463/10 dated 13.05.2010 with reference to the petitioner's representation dated 05.02.2015.

2. On this day, when the matter was taken up for admission, Mr. A. Kumar, learned Special Government Pleader taking notice for the respondent, submitted that the prayer sought for by the petitioner in this writ petition as per the G.O. 463 of 2010 is unnecessary, since this Court has been considering a new prayer, as and when it is approached.

3. In view of the same, Mr. S. Govindraman, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner sought permission of this Court https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

to withdraw this writ petition. He has also made an endorsement to that effect.

4. In view of the endorsement made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn. No costs.
