O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed for a direction to the second respondent to file final report in Crime No.418 of 2019 on the file of the second respondent police station.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that in respect of the theft of Toyota Innova car bearing Reg.No.TN02-AZ-9698 belonging to the petitioner, the petitioner preferred a complaint to the second respondent police and the same is pending investigation on the file of the second respondent police station in Crime No.418 of 2019. It is submitted that even though the accused persons were arrested, the second respondent has not taken steps to remand the accused persons before the Trial Court and to seize the vehicle. Stating so, the learned counsel for the petitioner prayed for a direction to the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

respondent police to file final report within a stipulated time frame.

3.Mrs.Kritika Kamal, learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) takes notice for the respondents.

4.Taking note of the facts and circumstances of the case, the second respondent is directed to complete the investigation and file final report in Crime No.418 of 2019 pending on the file of the second respondent police station, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.The Criminal Original Petition is disposed of accordingly.
