ORDER
The wife is the petitioner. The petitioner and the respondent got married on 09.11.2018. From the wedlock, a child was born on 10.08.2019. The parties have separated and the wife is now a residing at Salamedu in Villupuram, whereas the husband is a resident of Pondicherry.
2. The petitioner states that the respondent is a lawyer and is also politically well-connected in Pondicherry. Apart from that, she pleads that she is unable to travel a distance of 50 km for every hearing from Villupuram to Pondicherry.
3. Taking into consideration that she has a child and she herself is a young parent and a student, I am inclined to transfer HMOP.No.723 of 2023 from the file of the Family Court at Pondicherry to the file of the Family Court at Villupuram.
4. Accordingly, HMOP.No.723 of 2023 is withdrawn from the file of the Family Court at Pondicherry and is transferred to the file of the Family Court at Villupuram. The presence of the husband need not be insisted upon by the court for every hearing. It is sufficient if he is present at every essential hearing. On all other non-essential or procedural hearings, he will be represented through a counsel.
5. With the aforesaid directions, this transfer civil miscellaneous petition is allowed. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
