O R D E R

The present Contempt Petition is taken up alleging the non compliance of the order dated 01.07.2016 made in W.P.No.22801 of 2016 and W.M.P.No.19479 of 2016

2. Heard the submission of the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner who would submit that in the

light of the proceedings of the Revenue Divisional Officer, Tondiarpet, Chennai-600 081, dated 29.06.2016, in R.Dis.No. (A1/114/2016), the minor petitioner has applied for issuance of Community Certificate before the Revenue Divisional Officer, Tirupattur, Vellore District and their response is awaited and would further submit that despite the interim order dated 01.07.2016, passed in W.P.No.22801 of 2016, the allotment order is yet to be issued in spite of her participation in the counseling under the Scheduled Tribe Quota and prays for appropriate orders.

Mr.L.P.Shanmugasundaram, learned counsel appearing for the respondent would submit that allotment order will be issued before the end of this week to the petitioner so as to enable him to join the Engineering Course and prays for further direction, directing the petitioner to produce the Community Certificate within a period of six months from today and also prays for keeping the writ petition pending.

In the light of the undertaking given by the learned counsel appearing for the respondent, on instructions, that the allotment order will be issued to the petitioner before the end of this week, the contempt petition is closed and the Community Certificate of the minor petitioner to be issued by the Revenue Divisional Officer, Tirupattur, Vellore District if any shall be produced before the respondent within a period of six

months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is once again made clear that the admission of the petitioner under Scheduled Tribe quota is subject to the result of the writ petition and he cannot claim any right or equity at the time of final disposal of this writ petition.

This Contempt Petition is closed with the above observation. Call the main W.P.No.22801 of 2016 and W.M.P.No.19479 of 2016 on 04.01.2017.
