By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

2.The petitioners submitted individual representations dated 4.4.2015, claiming that the land in Survey No.22/1, situated in Sirupanadandal Village, Sankarapuram Taluk, Villupuram District, was provided for adi-dravida and the list of beneficiaries was also received and 174 beneficiaries including the petitioners, were selected and some of them have also been issued with patta. 3.It is the claim of the petitioners that in spite of the fact that they have been identified as beneficiaries for receiving free house site patta, the same has not been given and in this regard, they have submitted representations, making a request for issuance of free house site patta.

4.The learned Counsel appearing for the petitioners, would submit that in spite of receipt of the representations on 6.4.2015, the petitioners have not been favoured with any response and hence, came forward to file this writ petition.

5.The Court heard the submission of Mr.R.M.Muthukumar, learned Government Advocate, who accepted notice for the respondents 1 and 2, also.

6.This Court, without going into the merits of the claim projected by the petitioners, directs the second respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioners' representations dated 4.4.2015, in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision to the petitioners. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
