.. Respondents Contempt Petition filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of Court Act, 1971, seeking to punish the respondents for the willful disobedience of the order of this Honourable Court dated 29.01.2016 made in W.P.No.1677 of 2016.

Alleging that the order passed by this Court has not been complied with by the respondents, the present Contempt Petition has been filed.

2. Heard Mr.S.Senthilnathan, learned counsel

appearing for the Petitioner and Mr.Haja Mohideen Gisthi, learned counsel appearing for the Respondent.

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned counsel appearing for the Respondent based upon the typed set of papers filed, submits that final decision was taken on 15.7.2016 which was also communicated by a letter dated 18.7.2016. In so far as the decision regarding publication of results is concerned, it is submitted that the second respondent in the writ petition is the competent authority to take decision on that.

4. In such view of the matter, the Contempt Petition is closed giving liberty to the petitioner to take appropriate steps to get relief against the Respondent No.2 in the writ petition namely the Registrar, Tamil Nadu Dr.M.G.R. Medical University, if so advised. No costs. gr.
