Appeals filed under Clause 15 of Letters Patent, against the order passed by this Court in W.P.Nos.22252 of 2012 and 35215 of 2013, respectively, dated 11.04.2014.

When these writ appeals have been taken up, the learned counsel for the appellants has produced a copy of the letter of the Tamil Nadu Housing Board, Chennai dated 30.08.2018 in Letter No. Legal-1(2)/42714/12, in which it is stated that the impugned order made in W.P.Nos.22252 of 2012 and 35215 of 2013 dated 11.04.2014, has been complied with by allotting Plot No.68, C.I.T. Nagar to Mr.Syed Jaffer/1st respondent in W.A.No.1823 of 2018, through the Tamil Nadu Slum Clearance Board. Producing the said letter, the learned counsel submitted that he may be permitted to withdraw these appeals, as the matter in the appeals has become infructuous. An endorsement has also been made to that effect.
2.In view of the above, the writ appeals are dismissed as withdrawn. No costs. Consequently the connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
