PRAYER:

The Writ Petition filed under Section 226 of Constitution of India, pleased to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to pay the compensation amounting to Rs. 46,41,75,158.31/- with interest @ 15 percent per annum towards the 1st and 2nd award and interest @ 15 percent on the Award amount granted (Rs. 1,89,68,772/-) in 3rd award for the lands acquired in S.Nos. 5/2, 5/3, 5/5, 15/4, 21/1, 21/5, 22/9A and 22/9B and 8/3, measuring an extent of 8.9 acres situated at Nemili village, Sriperumbudur and to pay the compensation amounting to Rs. 12,74,38,157.40 /- (Rs. 10,83,28,157.40/- plus Rs. 1,91,09,790 /-) with interest @ 15 percent annum towards Road and Park measuring an extent of 106431 sq.ft (18000 sqft and 88431 sq.ft situated at Nemili village Sriperumbudur.

The petitioner has filed this petition for issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to pay the compensation.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that pursuant to the petitioner's application, the matter was referred under Section 64 of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition Act, 2013 and hence this Writ Petition may be closed.

3. In view of the aforesaid submissions, this Writ Petition is closed and liberty is granted to the petitioner to canvass all the points before the competent authority.
