O R D E R
This petition seeks appointment of a Sole Arbitrator to resolve disputes between the petitioner and respondent arising out of contract
between the parties dated 22.09.2014.
2.When the matter is called for hearing today, both learned counsel are agreeable to reference of disputes to Arbitration in terms of Clause No.17 of contract dated 22.09.2014. 3.I, thus, appoint Mr.P.V.Balasubramanian, Advocate, residing at No.47/1, I Main road, Rams Surabi Apartments, R.A.Puram, Chennai - 600 028. (Mobile No.9841041888) as the Sole Arbitrator to enter upon reference and adjudicate the disputes inter se the parties. The learned Arbitrator may, after issuing notice to the parties and upon hearing them, pass an award as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six months from the date of receipt of the order. The learned Arbitrator is at liberty to fix his remuneration and other incidental expenses. The proceedings may be conducted under the aegis of the Madras High Court Arbitration Centre and in accordance with the Madras High Court Arbitration Rules, as requested for by the learned counsel.
4.The Original Petition is, accordingly, allowed, leaving the parties to bear their own costs.
