This Petition has been filed before this Court under the caption "For extension of time" along with the report sent by the learned IV Additional District and Sessions Judge, Ponneri in D.No.454 of 2022 dated 29.06.2022.

It is seen from the records, while disposing the petition in Crl.O.P.No.6596 of 2020, this Court by an order dated 19.03.2020, directed the trial Court to complete the trial proceedings in S.C.No.190 of 2018, within a period of six months. However, the learned IV Additional District and Sessions Judge, Ponneri has sent communication dated 29.06.2022 in D.No. 454 of 2022, narrating the sequence of proceedings in S.C.No.190 of 2018 and sought further period of three months time to complete the trial in the said case.
