No.2 ) at Pappu Masthan Dargah, New Street, Llyods Road, Chennai - 600 014, comprised in Survey No.1055/2, Triplicane Village, Triplicane - Mylapore Taluk, Chennai by considering the petitioner's Wakf representation dated 14.09.2021 within the period as stipulated by this Court.

This criminal original petition has been filed for a direction to the respondents to provide police protection to the petitioner Wakf by considering the petitioner's Wakf representation dated 14.09.2021. 2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondents. 3.Learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for respondents submitted that the representation made by the petitioner is not available with the 3rd respondent. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor further submitted that if fresh representation is made by the petitioner, the same will be enquired and a decision will be taken with regard to providing police protection.

4.Considering the submissions made by learned Additional Public Prosecutor, there shall be a direction to the petitioner to give a fresh representation to the 3rd respondent. The 3rd respondent, on receipt of the same, shall conduct an enquiry by issuing notice to all the interested parties and shall take a decision within a period of four (4) weeks. 5.This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with the above direction.
