The petitioner, who arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 19.02.2023, for an offences punishable under Section 8(C) read with 22(c), 28 and 29 of NDPS Act, 1985, in C.C.No.984 of 2023, registered on the file of the respondent, seeks bail.

2. The petitioner herein was arrested on 19.02.2023 for the alleged possession of 'LSD' and 'MDMA' tablets. The contraband seized from the possession of the petitioner is of commercial quantity. The investigation revealed that the contraband had been purchased online from the Netherlands.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the prosecution commenced on suspicion regarding parcel addressed to one Sathish Kumar and the said Sathish Kumar happens to be the informant regarding the role of this petitioner. However, Sathish Kumar has not been arrayed as prosecution witness in the final report.

4. The learned Special Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent states that, due to inadvertence, the name of Sathish Kumar was omitted from 2/4

the list of witnesses, however, necessary steps are being taken to include his name as a prosecution witness.

5. Insofar as this petitioner is concerned, the prosecution submits that 75 LSD stamps were recovered from his possession. The particulars furnished by him disclosed that he had been purchasing banned narcotic drugs through online.
