O R D E R

The relief sought for in this Writ petition is to direct the respondents to appoint the petitioner in the post of Lecturer in Electronics and Communication Engineering in the

College of Engineering, Villupuram.

2.The learned counsels appearing on behalf of the respondents brought to the notice of this Court, that the Registrar issued a letter in letter No.17409/D1/2011, dated 12.09.2011, stating that the interview itself was cancelled. The said interview was cancelled pursuant to the letter received from the Government Higher Education Department on 06.06.2011. The Government has advised the Universities not to conduct the interviews or going in for any advertisement for the recruitment of teaching as well as for non teaching posts. In response to the letter of the Government, the interview scheduled to be held from 06.06.201, has been cancelled.

3.Thus, no further adjudication needs to be undertaken in the grounds raised in this writ petition. Accordingly, this Writ petition stands closed. However, there shall be no order as to costs.
