ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for direction to direct the first respondent to take all legal effective steps as envisaged u/s.258 of the Chennai City Municipal Corporation Act, and demolish petitioner's dilapidated building consisting three floors situated at new No.6, old No.88, Perumal Mudali Street, Sowcarpet, Chennai - 600 079, in accordance with law.

Today when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the first respondent submitted that the prayer sought for in this petition has become infructuous and nothing survive in this writ petition.
