O R D E R

The petitioner / Accused, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offence punishable under Sections 420 of IPC and Section 66(D) of Information Technology Act, 2000 in connection with the case in Cr. No.14 of 2014 pending on the file of 1st responndent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of prosecution is that the petitioner has committed online fraud to the tune of Rs.10,48,803/-.

3. The learned counsel appearing for petitioner submitted that the petitioner is innocent; that he has not committed any offence; and that in any case, custodial interrogation of the petitioner is not required and sought for interim anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4. The learned counsel for the 1st respondent submitted that the petitioner has not made out any ground for inter-State anticipatory bail and that the petitioner's custody may be required for interrogation. 2/5

5. Heard the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the 2nd respondent/State.

6. Considering the fact that the petitioner has not furnished any reasons as to why he is unable to appear before the Courts in Kerala for seeking anticipatory bail and also considering the aforesaid submissions, this Court is not inclined to entertain this petition.
