2. Till date, no counter affidavit has been filed by the respondents/plaintiffs in this application.

3. In the affidavit filed in support of this application, the applicants/defendants have pleaded that A.Nos.1129 and 1130 of 2023 were allowed by this Court on 30.03.2023 with a direction to the defendants to file additional written statement. According to the 1/3

applicants, only based on the said direction, this application has been filed seeking leave of this Court to file additional written statement.

4. Since the respondents have also not filed their counter affidavit and this Court is satisfied with the reasons contained in the affidavit filed in support of this application as sufficient cause has been shown for filing additional written statement, this Court is inclined to allow this application. Accordingly, this application is allowed by granting leave to the applicants to file additional written statement in C.S.No.536 of 2009. 20.12.2024 rkm 2/3
